Integrated "closed" transfer Granulation and Drying suite
At P-MEC India 2010 you will be able to see a high shear granulator integrated with fluid bed processor, incorporating a wet and dry mil. The plant, tailored for India, will be displayed in a through-the-wall configuration.
Single Pot Processor
The concept of a Single Pot Processor in itself already ensures contained processing by avoiding product transfers and executing the unit operations of mixing, granulation and drying in only one machine. GEA Pharma Systems has supplied many UltimaPro™ Single Pot Processors to pharmaceutical companies world-wide for production of cytostatics, hormones and other highly potent products, which require special care during production to avoid exposure of the operators to the drug as well as cross-contamination of other products manufactured in the same facility. Tablet Press
We will display a MODUL™ S tablet press, which ais the choice solution for small batch / frequent product change-over tableting facilities. All MODUL™ rotary tablet presses are based on the Exchangeable Compression Module (ECM) concept. The ECM is completely isolated from the remainder of the machine, contains all product contact parts and can easlily be removed from the press in a contained way. This means that the press itself remains powder-free and requires no cleaning.
High Containment Solutions
When talking today about solid dosage form production, in 9 out of 10 cases containment immediately becomes one of the issues.
