GEA Pharma Systems India

GEA Pharma Systems has opened its new factory in Vadodara, Gujarat to provide our customers in India with high-technology solid dose and liquid pharmaceutical processing equipment. GEA has invested a substantial amount in manufacturing equipment as well as training staff (certified welders and polishers) in order to meet GEA's high quality standards for the pharma and food industry.

History of GEA Pharma Systems
GEA Pharma Systems (formerly known as Niro Pharma Systems) was formed in early 2000 after GEA acquired the pharmaceutical division of GEI International. The newly acquired brands BuckŪ Valve (containment interfaces solutions) and Buck Systems™ (contained materials handling), Collette™ (granulation & single pot technology), Courtoy™ (tablet compression),  were combined into GEA Pharma Systems along with the existing GEA brands, Aeromatic-Fielder ™(granulation, drying, pelletizing & coating technology) and the pharma division of Niro (spray drying technology).

In November 2005 followed the acquisition of Steris Gmbh by GEA. After renaming the company into GEA Lyophil it joined the other pharma brands in GEA Pharma Systems. GEA Lyophil supplies specialist freeze drying technology for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets.

With this combination, GEA Pharma Systems has became the leading international supplier of Oral and Parenteral Dosage Processing equipment to the pharmaceutical industry.
